I had this problem, I replaced my garage roof with a bitumen corrugated roof from wickes. I did try a few other methods such as paint etc but no good.

If the problem is condensation this will make no difference.
  • Not much you can do with metal roof other than insulate it or replace it.Metal just sweats when its cold that why you see cars parked on road wet when its cold even when its not raining. As said you could replace them with bitumen corrugated roof which will probably be cheapest way assuming you can do that on your own

The simple answer would be NO, at least not easily.

You have zero insulation and 1 of the best conductors of heat, hot or cold, in a tin roof.

If you use the garage for any other purpose than keeping the car in, then you should consider fitting a false ceiling with insulation over, leaving plenty of airgap and ventilation to atmosphere.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

It won't last. So you have to decide will it see you out or not?

My neighbour has a bitumen corrugated roof on his shed/partial aviary which is uses as a aviary and he has no issues and has lasted at least 5 years, and he does begger all to maintain that shed in all 6 years I lived here accept replace the roof.

If they dont last maybe go more expensive route of EPDM or fibre glass obviously that could costs around 1k for cheapest route of the two
  • Can't you line it with some insulating material?
