Setting up of trusts can be a bit more specialist but running of one already in place is not.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

You'll presumably be able to spend a few hundred pounds in fees, or maybe a bit more, but I don't think many will be interested in that.
I'd expect to pay a wee bit more than that and would regard it as money well spent if it improved my tax situation and income flexibility long term. They won't be set up for a chat through investment options
That's fortunate as I wouldn't be intending to let them anywhere near my investments. That's my impression but maybe dunston or other ifa could give an opinion, would be interested to hear.
As it happens, I've discussed this with dunston by PM in the past and may use his services in the future. Of course, I have certain views based on previous bad experiences, and I pull few punches when expressing them, so maybe he would tell me to take a hike now!
However, I know a lot of IFAs socially, and a few of them even share my views on trackers, ITs, asset allocation, etc. so there are other options.
TBH, all I really need is someone to look at the 3-4 different plans I've concocted, comment on pros/cons/legality/sanity, and perhaps provide additional food for thought.I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0
