E-Mail Clients - Any Others Recommended?

My favourite mail client remains Mozilla Thunderbird
although I admit I have played with Eudora in the past - very good at crashing and losing data when pc becomes corrupted.
I have used Incredimail - that one hijacks all my pc's extensions and makes some applications unusable.
Outlook Express, my first learning program and first love till I found others.
Right now I am into mass mailing and I believe there must be more mail clients out there than just Thunderbird.
I am getting complaints that my e-mails scroll horizontally as opposed to vertically.
Surely this is just a compatibility issue. Thunderbirds forum found no problem tested with both plain text and colour backgrounds and some people do use webmailers as opposed to e-mail clients such as Microsoft Outlook or Express.
My main question remains this - are there any other e-mail clients out there of free natures that do not need on-line activity to work?
I have tried a few others but the above three remain my favourite.

If I fail to thank you individually, I am sorry. Your advice was appreciated but may not have been 100% the result I was after.
