Why would it be an excuse? Places get rushes for unexplained reasons, they turn repairs around quite quickly when quieter.

And to update at every step is asking a lot, that's time consuming and not practical.

  • gunsandbanjos - my oldie is a chocolate brown Bayswater. Then I have two Bayswater totes, in Oak and Black.

I'm creating a classic bag collection. I have another 5 designer bags in various sizes and colours. I buy with intention, knowing what gaps I have.

My only impulse was the black tote, but I saw it in Bicester village and it was £350 off. I was alledgedly marked but neither myself nor the shop assistant could find the fault.
  • Thanks

Bag was actually from mulberry online
Didnt buy from john Lewis or house of fraser, but wish I did now, as mulberry direct CS is poor.

Ok might be over reacting, but I guess my expectations is that they should send something out to ensure the bag is safe for courier in terms if packaging.
Also once its in different progress status to have that communicated

Also I think it's an excuse to why its a busy period
I know things break at times but as a repair centre would volume not be stable, ie why would repair centre be busy now?

Was it definitely from Mulberry? There are lots of scam website.

If it was fake mulberry wouldn't repair it.

Lovely SA in the Edinburgh store said they have loads of people bringing fakes for repair thinking they're real. He said its so awkward having to explain they're fake:o

I love the Bayswater tote, it's definitely on my wish list.

A classic collection is great, they will definitely stand the test of time.

Bicester is great, really wish I lived closer.

I visited once and found it enabling. I got bag envy.:rotfl:

Ah, the unfortunate downside! I have terrible bag envy, some of the ladies on there have collections that I can't even get my head around.

I am always surprised by that forum with all the comments about:

    (a) having a "personal" sales assistant that keeps in touch with them etc and

    (b) the number that claim to have gone into a Hermes store, its happened to have a Birkin or Kelly in stock so they've impulse bought it. So just have £10,000-£20,000 of cash or credit laying about

Now obviously not everything you read on forums is true but there is a massive number on PurseBlog that claim to have these experiences.
