Sky email question

This year sky changed from Gmail to yahoo mail (web mail), hate it. I usually access emails at home using windows live mail. All ok there. But when I am out I have to use the yahoo webmail thru sky and this is where I have encountered a slight problem.
It archives all my 'sent' mail fine but my 'inbox' only shows that days emails. I cannot look back over older received emails as I can with my sent ones which go back over 3 years!!
Has anyone else encountered this and found a workaround ?
Many thanks.

It may be because of how you have configured your windows live mail on the computer.
If it is downloading the inbox from the server, then deleting the server mails, that would be why you can't see them.
    POP3 normally downloads & deletes
IMAP will download but keep a copy on the server.
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
