Facebook apps not working

Anybody else having problems with half the apps not working, just get a blank page.

I've had a problem with them for the last week or so , I have to constantly keep refreshing or some of the time it just keeps taking me back to the homepage.

I've been having issues with some Facebook apps all week.

Either not loading, parts missing- the entry button, or just not submitting.

It's been a right pain.

Have had to use an alternate browser to access them properly.

If you've tried all the other browsers and it's still happening then let them know.

Are you all using Avast with Firefox by any chance? I've had to uninstall Avast after they updated their software and had the same kinds of problems as you guys, I now use AVG.

it's also worth checking for that little shield thingy on the address bar

FF seems to be a pain for fb at the mo, try chrome of ie if you have probs one of them always seem to work.
Although the Heat Advent won't work with any of them for some bizarre reason

Thanks for all the tips, I am also having another problem that started at the same time, I am using IE and when I post a new comp it causes IE to shut down for a couple of seconds which is very annoying, I have done a system restore and a full computer scan and it still does it. Any tips would be gratefull.

I get the page having to close down when I use IE on a couple of the daily magazines. Happens on other websites too.

Think a lot of the problem is that websites IT dept. just can't keep up to date with everything so when major updates occur it takes a while to sort out the individual issues.

I find it's easier to copy the website address I need and go onto another browser that I know it should be okay with.

I have the same problem with a blank page on FB apps. I tried in IE FF and chrome and nothing works, my secure browsing button to change in my security is gone and cannot change it

Some of the Apps on Facebook have been blank for me over the past few weeks - Heaven knows why!? I'm using Chrome and Avast. I'm not very 'technical' so I don't like to fiddle and change things on my laptop. I just have to miss those comps out!
