PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP ME ....I parked in the co.op car park in Whitby the end of sept 10 days later my husband received a fine saying he hadn't paid. I replied that I had driven the car had proof I paid the time of entry into car park and purchasing the ticket was 20 mins I explained my son had vomited in the back seat upon arrival into car park and a needed attending before I could queue for my ticket. therey said the fine stood but I could appeal to popla. I did saying the charges were unfair as I had no choice but to sort my son out before buying my ticket ..popla have just replied saying they sympathise with me and while I didn't have to stick too 10 mins the 20 mins it took me was to long in her opinion so the fine stands
