Hi,
Im just wondering if anyone as heard of 'Power Over Wireless' the transfer of electricity to things such as cell phones without a cable. Apparently also a cell phone company has taken out a patent for a device that switches the cell phone on when it detects a wireless signal and powers itself. So you dont waste battery power but when you find the wireless power it charges itself - pretty cool.

Random first post but welcome justluke
Indeed I was reading about this in The Times the other day. Very interesting stuff!
At the moment though high amounts of the stuff can cause radiation poisoning and cancer, so I dont think I'll be trusting it all just yet.
Interesting theory though
P.S I think the official term for it is Wi-Elec?[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."
