Need some help RE: Ticket!

I really need some help regarding a ticket I got in November.
Basically, I was driving and I started having an asthma attack. I couldn't find any where to stop that wasn't a single red line down some residential roads, so had to stop there.
My boyfriend picked me up and drove me to hospital, leaving my car behind. When my boyfriend returned later to pick up my car, I had a ticket (not unexpected as I knew I was on a yellow line).
The problem is that I've lost the ticket!
Who can/do I contact to pay it?
Can they take me to court for non payment etc? What can happen to me?

Which council.? Get onto their parking section and ask.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

The wife had a (council) parking ticket once. She didn't notice until it started raining and she put on her wipers ....... and the ticket went WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE into the great beyond!

She just phoned the council, explained what happened and where the ticket was given and they sorted it from there. (She just paid the reduced fine - and yes, it was a real fine - rather than trying to challenge it).0 -
Just wait for the notice to keeper and pay it then. They have to offer the discount to the RK as well.0

Good point. Does that apply (for real PCNs) throughout the UK, so including Scotland and NI too?0 -

No in fact they don't, not if this was a Council ticket. The discount BRIBE is for the driver only - and re-offered once following an early appeal only.
Why doesn't the OP just phone the Council and ask if there's a PCN against the car reg? And not sure why on earth anyone would want to pay any Council PCN without appealing first, seeing as they re-offer the discount when they reject (and seeing as most people actually win on appeal in the end).

Post here and appeal it once you've found out the number. See if there are grounds for appeal once you get the rejection and then the NTO if you've decided to fight. Don't just pay it without trying!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
