We need more debt staff and better perks for them and far more powers. Bring down the costs of energy by charging the thieving scrotes who do not pay instead of Ofgem forcing those who pay cash bills on time to pay their costs.

I agree, British Gas are the only ones to put up a real fight against the thieves, the rest of the big 6 dont do much. I would like to know how suppliers like First Utility and Utility Warehouse manage revenue protection

All I did was state that it was a PR disaster, I personally have no problem with what they did!

they don't have rpu team. Also consumer focus are to blame, they request reconnections on serial tampers or even when cannabis is involved

Thanks, even Scot Power dont run a RPU section, they contract out the gas to the BG RPU, Electric to our lot at G4S.. EDF do have some sort of poor service for electric, but they had no idea who sorted any gas bypasses.. I have to ring National Grid for that.. Very poor, the general public would be shocked at how lax they are

They have a team, but no engineers. Its the same as SSE. Pam at EDF deals with their gas but only office based

Could've used the money for more staff. I've a multi-site setup at work, and BG are horrid for allocating payments timely. Still, allows me to make them look foolish when we produce bank statements for "debts" that actually cleared their bank accounts weeks before!
