Smart Parking at Asda

I've read through several very helpful threads here, but not all of them. I received a window parking ticket today from Smart Parking (no sign of Town and County Parking on the ticket) at Asda saying that my parking had caused an obstruction - which it hadn't. I am disabled, and there were no disabled spaces, or even ordinary spaces close to the store, so I was forced to park on the white lines on the end of the disabled bay. Do I follow the advice that I have read so far, and wait for the NTK? I'm sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but there is so much to read!

You contact asda and inform them the car parking goon is writing tickets for fake contraventions and harassing disabled customers and demand they cancel this immediately.
When the manager starts to lie and say the car park has nothing to do with them and they dont own it the council do and you have to complain to the parking company, just stop him and inform him is is clearly lying to you as this article proves

They do own their car parks and can cancel tickets, but lying to the press about not owning car parks is not a good idea as they will publicly lambaste them, ask him, is lying only reserved for customers ?
Yes they do own it, yes they can cancel it.
If they refuse, and trots out the lies take the managers name and inform him you contact the local paper and reserve the right to quote was he has said to you, which you accidently recorded on your phone, purely for record keeping purposes of course.Be happy...;)0 -
Thanks, spacey for that. I'll go and see them tomorrow.0

Make sure you get photographic evidence of your "contravention" with the NtK. If it isn't there, demand it.0

Yep but don't forget that the beauty of a Smart NTK which follows a windscreen ticket, is that it doesn't actually re-state the contravention at all!
And Smart always cancel when they get a strong first appeal from someone who knows the score.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
