Well......thought my pound pot was in jeopardy after having to dip into it to cover £50 car repair and £20 birthday present as well as nag DH who was about £20 in defecit (we are both doing it at £1 each) in Feb.

Good news though, as it is now all back on track!! :j

Decided to open a savings account online to remove the temptation of having too much cash readily available. DH finds it easier to transfer it for the full month on payday. I find it easier to throw a few pounds in the pot every few days, so we are doing it both ways and I will put the cash in the bank each time we reach £50.

So, DH has paid his arrears and I managed to save some money from the household budget to replace the car repair and present money. Slightly ahead of ourselves now with £161 in there.
