First £10 is in the pig - five pounds each for me and DH up to the end of this week and £1 each in the jar ready to start next week, we figured that's the only way to keep track of what goes in there :j2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!

Both me and my hubbie are doing this so £2 a day going in the pot. I have got a tick chart next to it as I think sometimes I will be throwing in a few days worth in advance etc ..........as don't want to fall behind with it.
This challenge has really got me thinking how much difference £1 can actually make. I know for me I have hardly ever bothered saving as such as felt I could never afford to ferrit away larger amounts. The light switch has now been flicked on and I have come to realise little and often really is worth it.
I think I will also be joining the Grocery challenge as I think that we flitter away a reasonable amount each month on unnecessary items / impulse buys etc etc. I am sick of going in for milk and bread and coming out with a £27 spend. I cringe at how much that is likey to add up over a year!0 -
£1 potted today, nice healthy chink as it fell to meet its fellows in the pot.
Everyone is doing so well, way to go!

It's great people are doing this in so many days, piggy bank, daily online transfers and a weekly / monthly transfers. Everyone keep it up, share what your doing and give done encouragement.
