The price is average for where I live. It's certainly not the cheapest which is around £1,200 for the same boiler and under £1,000 for a value boiler. The most expensive quote for the same boiler was £1,650.
I went with this company as they do a lot of contracts with local govenment etc, so thought they would be more reliable etc.

    Yes it is appalling service.

Why? That simply means that they are doing lots of installs at a very cheap price-with the inevitable bodged result.
If you didn't sign the Benchmark (or weren't even made aware of it's existence) then then haven't properly commissioned the boiler.

Your so right macman, I feel like I'm on a production line.

No I didn't sign it, I only found it yesterday when you told me where to look. It has been signed by the installer though. I have today received received the 7 year warranty letter from "heateam", the the "Occupier" at my address. Does this mean its now "commissioned" ?
I'm not sure what "properly commissioned" means in the context of a boiler install, sorry I'm a bit thick when it comes to this as my previous boiler was installed around 20 years ago.
