Hi can anyone help please?
1) Is there any difference between Core 2 Duo and Centrino Duo?
2) Two laptops have 1024mb RAM but one is described as 2 x 512mb. Does this make any difference?
3) Both laptops are described as having 2mb cache. What does this mean please?
Thanks

1. maybe, centrino is the bundle of wireless technology and mobile cpu together
2. depends how many slots there are for ram and if you're ever going to want to put more in.
3. There are 3 types of memory in a computer. The largest (and slowest) is the hard drive, then RAM is faster, more expensive and finally you have the cache which is v fast (and expensive) which is on the cpu.0
