I doubt if you will get any further discount of the web price unless you know someone who works for Thomsons. The company do at times offer a promotion code of say £50 per booking for short periods, but I have no idea when the next one is due or how you can find this information. Good luck in your pursuit of a discount on your winter holiday. Hopefully if someone reading this forum and has some knowledge on this subject they will post it here for you.0

Take your print out and go to your local Thomas Cook shop if they can match it they will, doubtful they'll beat it but depends on how much the difference is between the shop price and the web. Thomsons don't tend to match their web price or if they do they charge a £10pp booking fee.0

i always book in thomson/first choice stores and they always match the web price but say they are not allowed to beat it,
the last two holidays i have booked have been at a thomson superstore and as steph says they do charge £10pp for booking instore.
my small local thomson travel agency has never charged in the past but that might have also changed0 -
I know we all like the shops to match the webprice, I have done it myself, but it does defeat the object of getting it cheaper online as they dont have shops to upkeep.0

Not a discount as such but it's always worth checking with the shop to see if 'de-packaging' the holiday works out cheaper.
A couple of years ago we managed to get around a 20% reduction on a package.
So worth checking, you never knowChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -

Absolutely not going to happen unless you know someone who works for Thomson and even then it's not certain.
They don't care if you've booked a hundred holidays with them, you won't be getting a discount. Customer loyalty means nothing to them. When we tried to negotiate last year the guy in the shop said they are strictly told under no circumstances to offer any discounts or throw in anything for free. He seemed pretty embarassed by it all and said he thought it was really bad they didn't have a loyalty scheme.
It's a shame because they used to be able to negotiate if you were a loyal customer about a decade ago. Those days are long gone! You can sometimes price match if another company does it cheaper, but now Thomson tend to buy out a hotel so they are the only ones offering the rooms, which means there is no competition.
Sometimes if the destination is a common one you can get it cheaper buy DIY'ing it and contacting the hotel seperately and then booking budget flights.0 -
Thomsons holidays in my opinion, are generally one of the better package holiday companies. However they do not reward loyal customer in any way which is a real shame. Trying to get a lower price than the one advertised on their web site in nearly impossible. The staff on the phone when booking direct or in one of their shops have no discretion to lower prices or offer free upgrades etc.If you know a member staff personally I hear their might be a special code they can put in to obtain a discount but this fact may only be hearsay!!!. Basically it is a case of this the price "take it or leave it". The instigation of loyalty points programme towards another holiday would be a real incentive to customers to book again.0

I don't think you can negotiate a better price on Thomson holidays than you get on their website. I believe they block and do not allow staff or agents to go below that price. I fully agree it would beneficial to both customers and Thomsons themselves if they introduced some kind of loyalty programme getting points or money off vouchers for another holiday.0

Thomsons might be blocked from beating their prices but Thomas cook aren't depending on how much the difference in price is.0 -
There's an offer on Thomson website save £50 on holidays departing between Dec 13 - Jan 14. Code 40525 but offer ends midnight on Monday, 16 December.
So need to be quick.0
