Icesave charged me for a CHAPS transfer that wasn't requested

Hi all, I can't believe this, I've just made a £700 withdrawal from my Icesave account and found out today that I was charged £30 for a CHAPS transfer. I can't see how this could have happened - I know what CHAPS is and I did not tick that box.
I don't see how I can prove it though or what I can do. Has this ever happened to anyone before? The money is in my highstreet account now and the fee has been applied, so I doubt Icesave are going to want to help me.
Very !!!!ed off, I wish I'd just left my money with Egg now.

I've been e-mailing them and requested evidence that I requested the CHAPS transfer. I got this reply:
"Please note having looked at the logs from your account we can confirm that there was a request for your funds to be transferred via CHAPS.
Unfortunately the funds have left your account so we have no option to delete the transaction."
Any ideas? Obviously this doesn't constitute evidence of a CHAPS request, but I think I'm fighting a losing battle here.0 -
Ask for a screen print of the request!
It is obviously there for them to see.
If you don't get anywhere I would take my money elswhere.0
