Excel PCN - Peel centre Stockport

Hi,

I've received a PCN from Excel for the Peel centre. I've read the other threads about them on here but not sure how I should plan my appeal.

I'm not local to the area and have never been to a retail park that's pay and display before. Looking on google street view, i can see they have signs about pay and display on the road side as you enter the car park. I missed these and never saw any signs once I was in there. I was in there for just over an hour and spent over £100 in one of the shops there.

I've emailed a manager of Peel group who has fobbed me off and told me to email Excel.

Can anyone give me some advice on what I should base my first appeal on to get a popla code.

Thanks,

    Thanks,

The fact that you were a genuine shopper - attach copy of receipt or suitably redacted bank/card statement.

AND complain to the actual retailer.

Well yes, but of course worded as written from the registered keeper, NOT THE DRIVER, rob7475!

rob7475 needs to read the 'Newbies read this first' thread at the top of the forum (you must have missed it when you...read all the sticky (top of the board)threads first...!). Much as we want everyone to win - and they do - we can hardly take time to help everyone write first appeals from scratch when the newbies thread has exactly that, first appeals, in several linked examples. There's also a 'successful complaints' sticky thread with the Peel Centre featured...I assume you've seen that already because that's what the stickies are at the top of the forum for.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
