I had a text earlier from a friend who works in Boots to warn me they were close to selling out and she was amazed when I said I didn't want one :rotfl:

I've bought them for the last 3yrs running and still have loads left over so decided to save my pennies this year :D

There were loads in my local store too. I picked one up then suddenly realised I'm over soap and glory so I put it back :)

I nearly bought one this morning but was thinking that really the normal price is £40, as the similar set with same contents is on for 3 for 2 normally. So it's 33% off, not 50% (£27 down from £40). I was really tempted but this persuaded me not to.
Sorry to be a party pooper but just thought I'd add my twopenneth.

But you would have to spend £120 to get them for your price and if only one is wanted its a good saving

no wonder, I think people have grown wise to the S&G hype, or have gone off the smell
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

  • I looked at what was inside the bags and felt that they had most of the things I use. There are body polishes and treatments/moisturisers as well as a cleanser and a mascara and a lip gloss. I figured that since I was going to have to spend £20 odd pounds on a Chanel mascara soon I may as well try this one for £7 more and with getting all the other stuff it seems to be worth it. I tried the display hand cream which seemed to be very good.
  • It's still a bargain whichever way you look at it. MSE has priced the contents of Yule Monty at £73, so to get a bag of goodies worth £73 for £27 is a bargain, and the products are all full sized too. I look forward to the S+G deal every year, keeps me going for months plus makes good presents too. If I had bought the 3 I got on 3 for 2 it would have cost me £120, I paid £81 today, and would have looked for a code if it hadn't been 4am when I ordered online!!:)
  • Going to take a trip down to Boots see if they have any... not desperate for this have far too much stuff already, but it's on offer and cheap and I just can't resist!

Not a chance in my local Boots, looks like they only had about six, and no promotional display either... However trekked to the other Boots six miles away and got THREE!!!! :)
