Selling computer advice

Hi I'm selling my acre aspire computer, should I reboot it, it was a vista but I had windows 7 put on it if I reboot it will I loose everything, not sure how to go about it thanks

You can do a factory reset so its just like you bought it from new.So it will have Vista on it ,same as how you bought it.
Put into Google Acer Aspire and model number + factory reset and it will tell you how to do it .I think its ALT+ F10 before Windows starts up but check on Google first.

If you do not plan to reuse your copy of windows 7, then wipe the drive sand do a fresh install of Win7. You should get more money for a machine with win 7 than vista.

Thanks, i haven't got a copy of win 7 , they did it at the shop for me

Then almost certainly it's an illegal copy, restore back to vista.

Yes it's an acer aspire 5051
