best way to repair and clean cds and dvds please

in Techie Stuff
i need to clean and repair aload of cds , mainly dust on them so i washed under tap but some have shallow to quite deep scratches, googled it and not sure what is best to buy

I use car wax not polish as in an abrasive compound but wax I do however use a dab of T-Cut if any thing is too bad then wax, I also use very clean soft clotchs and go in a spiral and not from inside edge to outside edge.0
