best way to repair and clean cds and dvds please

i need to clean and repair aload of cds , mainly dust on them so i washed under tap but some have shallow to quite deep scratches, googled it and not sure what is best to buy

I use car wax not polish as in an abrasive compound but wax I do however use a dab of T-Cut if any thing is too bad then wax, I also use very clean soft clotchs and go in a spiral and not from inside edge to outside edge.

I got a cd cleaning kit from the 99p shop today, and it seems to work well

It should do mate as Ive used it on my PS2 games and that took out minor blemishes
