Be extra careful at this time of year.

With Christmas online shopping in full swing, I very nearly got caught with by one, the email address was luckily not my online buying email address (formatting has fallen apart).

Just be aware at this time of year, very easy to be caught off guard

  • Get about a dozen of these daily at all times of the year.

How often have you known a courier company to email you? Why would a courier be bothered about your identity? Even if they were to email you, would they really use your email address and not your name in the salutation?

My point is when you are rushing and not thinking and are probably waiting on a host of deliveries then it is very easy to use finger before brain.

There's an article on the BBC website today about scams at Christmas. Worth a read
