Anyone tried the Galaxy Tab 3 8" ???

Having spent ages trawling re tablets, simply because I am ready to move on from the tiny Ideal World 5"/6" model, I have come down in favour of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8" model with wifi and unless you know different, the cheapest is at Curry's at £179, I wondered if you'd care to share your opinion on this model.
I use a laptop but would like something to use when making long rail journeys and at the "other end". Elsewhere on this site, I read this model is fast, bright, sharp etc. Battery life is about 10/11 hrs. A full charge takes about 8 hrs.
Ideally, I would also like a mifi on PAYG, (someone told me £10 lasts a month, is this so?). If the tablet has a USB port, then a dongle would be acceptable on a similar scheme. Do you have to buy the mifi to do this?.

Found it pretty good so far. Probably 8 or 9 hours at a stretch practically depending what you are doing. Screen can be outstandingly clear and bright. Default home screen is a bit clunky with icons too big for me, but you can tweak that with an alternative if you so care.
You can get better specs and cheaper price. I just went with something I knew and trusted, and so far don't regret that.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
