  • Pontins do this because they cant get enough bookings, the business is slowly going under and i am guessing that their way of making some money is to let people on site free and hope they spend money on site or return as a paying customer.
I had my doubts last year but we all definatley went and it wasnt a scam. I understand that you think its too good to be true though.

I dont want to pee on anyones bonfire, but we went to Pontins in Brean Sands and the end of May .It was the absolute pits damp mouldy and very very dirty we ended up with a refund and booked into a caravan park down the road which was fab.It was so bad that we photographed every bit of grime ect and have passed them onto trading standards,Pontins head office etc. The fact that they are giving the breaks away speaks volumes.

We went to Breen last July, while the main buildings were tatty, our chalet, a budget one was fine.

While they do need to spend some money, for what i could afford it was fine, my 7 year old loved it, kids and loads of kids! the weather was a heatwave then, and it was ok!!
