Paid for goods through Mighty Deals & not received & now told "out of time for refund

16 months ago I purchased a voucher for a vacuum through Mighty Deals(£99 & £9.99 p&p). As soon as I was given the voucher code I tried to order the vacuum but the order would not take the code. On contacting Mighty Deals I explained the situation and was told there had been problems with the codes for these and to contact the merchant direct (and I was given that phone number).
I called the merchant and ordered the vacuum. After 3-4 weeks had passed I contacted them again to enquire where my vacuum was and was informed that they had received a faulty batch from the manufacturer and it was now going to be another 2-3 months before they received them. I was told I could either wait or have a refund at this point. It was a good deal for such a vacuum that I thought I would wait for it to arrive and shortly after I was seriously ill and am now trying to sort a good number of things out in my life as well as this issue. On speaking to them recently they said I needed to get my money back from Mighty Deals.
To date I have not received a penny refund for the vacuum or postage. On contacting Mighty Deals I was informed that I was "out of time" to claim for a refund.
I cannot understand why I am out of time when I did everything correctly, paid my money and have never even received the product! Mighty Deals had my money and are refusing to pay me back.
To add insult I bought another make of vacuum through Mighty Deals 3-4 weeks ago. On arrival it was faulty and did not work. I asked Mighty Deals about returning it 5 days ago when discussing my other issue and was informed they would email me details on how to return it. I have still not received anything. It keeps costing me a lot of money to phone them every time and I am worried now they will say I am "out of time" again.
I have bought a good number of products from this outfit but I think I will have to stop due to the difficulty dealing with them when things go wrong and to my great cost! I am so angry about the first problem and feel I have been played for a fool. Any ideas on the way forward?

I'm a pensioner with chronic fibromyalgia so cannot get to shops much. Used mighty deals last year for many things and everything ok until December 2013. Ordered 3 items amounting to nearly £150. I haven't received the goods. Sent numerous emails, some ignored, others telling me conflicting information. Eventually telling me that I didn't redeem in time (although their website confirmed redemption) and won't get goods or refund. The mighty deals app won't work so can't submit a ticket through that. I'm getting nowhere and can't afford to lose this amount of money.
I've even sent email fao Neil Campbell but now not getting an answer. I used to work in customer services and would never have been able to treat customers like this. Stay clear of this company.0 -

I know I should have received a confirmation email but I can't find it. I ordered so many things for Christmas. I have explained this in numerous emails as well as other problems I've had. Please ask Helen Lawrence who was supposed to be sorting things out but didn't. Most of the emails I send don't even get answered.0

I am getting nowhere with mighty deals customer services. After spending hundreds of pounds with over the last year they are refusing to give me a refund of £80 saying I didn't redeem voucher when in fact it was their system not working. I've been sending numerous emails explaining things in great detail but don't always get replies. The replies I do get are not very clear but they abruptly and without compassion refuse me a refund.
I have tried to get through to someone higher up but have just been ignored.
I have sent emails FAO Neil Campbell and had no reply so I guess he isn't director.
I have no wish to deal with mighty deals any more but I will still check their offers. I will then contact the companies directly to ask to buy directly from then and tell them why I do not want to buy product through mighty deal offer. I'm sure the companies will be happy not to have to pay mighty deals and I will be happy not to have to contact mighty deals inferior customer service.
All voucher companies are not the same. I have dealt with Groupon, Wowcher, KGB deals and Gogroopie. There has been occasional problems but found their customer services deal with the issues quicker and with empathy. Doubt that mighty deals customer services even know what that means.0 -

I used twitter@mightydeals.co.uk as someone at mighty deals told me to. Still haven't heard from Neil Campbell or anyone who sound as though they care. My opinion of mighty deals and it's pathetic customer service is getting worse by the day. I've got chronic fibromyalgia and all this upset is making it worse. My patience is really wearing thin. I'm disgusted at the way they treat their good customers.0
