Hanging lining paper

Ok going to do two walls in the bathroom, wall one 1.6m x 2.35m (3 lengths) and wall two 2.2m x2.35m (4 lengths) and has a radiator on the wall.
Going to be doing it on my own so need some advice before I go to the diy store to buy tools.
Going to be using 1200 quad grade lining paper as I have a 40m roll and Solvite So Easy Wallpaper Liquid.
Both walls are internal plasterboard with old screwholes/ dents in so will use a multi purpose polyfilla will leave to dry overnight then lightly sand if needed.
So what I want to know is what tools I need. Do I have to seal the walls before I hang the lining paper? When I paste the paper how long do I leave before hanging on the wall (5/10/15min) for adhesive to soak into paper?
Will be painting the walls after. I have a white bathroom paint or eggshell.

I would get some PVA glue and water it down and coat the plasterboard before hanging the paper - leave it to dry for 24hrs.
The amount of time for the adhesive to paper should be on the packet, unless its a paste the wall kind.
Scissors, knife, cloth, and a pasting table/brush should do.0 -
I hang lining paper up as fast as I paste it,for adhesive to soak into paper?
Thats for standard wall paper not lining paper, so I normally cut all my lengths, paste two , hang first, paste another , hang the second... etc.
Are you cross lining?0 -
before I go to the diy store to buy tools.
And always used a wallpaper brush , then some one showed me a simple piece of plastic to smooth out the paper, much easier

I will be hanging the lining paper vertically as I will be painting. I do have bathroom wallpaper but I'm in too minds about the colour of it.
Is this kit ideal then http://direct.asda.com/Harris-Paperhanging-Set/001240810,default,pd.html
Would the Harris cutting guide be good to get http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10151&catalogId=1500001201&langId=110&searchTerms=harris+cutting+guide&authToken=0 -
size the walls with paste first , not pva , when pasting the paper allow 5-10 mins for it to become pliable before hanging , all the instructions will be on the paper and paste packaging0

not pva? was always led to believe that the normal paste would soak into a plasterboard wall. At least it will save me on pva in future0

I tend not to use general fillers because they are very gritty, for a finer finish I would recommend Gyproc Easi Fill. Available from decent merchants and diy stores.
Very easy to sand down and gives a much better finish IMO.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
