Halifax Financial Services

Hi folks I have searched this forum and google without success so thought I would ask the good folk here for advice.
I received through the post a letter from "Halifax Financial Services"

The following is the text..

We are trying to trace xxxxxx who used to live at xxxxxx with whom we are endeavouring to reunite with their investment/protection policy.

It then goes on to ask to confirm by completing an enclosed acknowledgement form in full.

It has an attached Q&A sheet which states that it is not related to debt recovery or the chasing of any outstanding premiums.

I lived at the address in 2000/2001 and did not run up any debt I cant think of any investments that I would not have retained and am worried this is some sort of scam and so would appreciate any input from members of this forum who may be able to advise ?
