Storage Heater - HELP!

Hi,

the storage heater in my living room is completely different to the upstairs heaters.

There is only one mains switch and I do not understand which dial is output and which is input.

I also cannot see how I am supposed to know what the dial is switched on to - there is no kind of indication on the dial if it is on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.

Please can someone tell me what to do?

- see all those vents at the top ?
- one of the two knobs is the [output] damper
- look into the vents on the top, which knob moves the damper [metal flap] up and down
- the one that moves the damper up and down is the output
- the numbers .. .. fully clockwise highest .. .. fully anti-clockwise lowest

Or give the group the brand and model number and we will try to help.

If you turn them two to the stop anti clock that should give you an idea of where the pointer is.

Or set then to the middle position and turn up if required.
