ESA and Mystery Shopping

Would it be OK to be on ESA and do Mystery Shopping- would it be counted as working and if under 16 hrs a week should it be declared as permitted work?

Many thanks

    What is mystery shopping?

By the sounds of it, yes, it would be seen as work, and would have to be declared.

Mystery Shoppers are 'shoppers' that visit a retail outlet to evaluate staff performance during the buying experience.
  • You can do it under permitted work but declare it and make sure it does not break the earnings limit
