Coal Mining Report - Even more bad news, advise please

We have had our coal mining report back (this is a standard requirement in stoke) and it has come back and says the property has 3 mine entrances with 20 metres and a further coal mining report is required. Does this mean that our house is unmortgageable??? Our Mortgage advisor has found out that he took a mortgage out with halifax 2 years ago and I saw that bought the house 4 years ago (apparently with the abbey according to our Mortgage Advisor) and he is saying that he never had this aditional report and he was never made aware of having mine entrances so close to the house. I do think he is an honest guy and he doesn't want to drag this along anymore but I don't what to do now. Is there anyone out there who has come accross a situation like this and should I be concerned about it jeopdising (cant spell sorry) our mortgage?

Sorry but your question is very ambiguous are you buying selling or what?

Since you are looking for a mortgage, I assume you are buying the property in question. With the information you have given, I think you may struggle to get a mortgage. Even if you do get the mortgage your building insurance will be very high
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

I personally would avoid this one.

Is it cheap compared to similar properties?

If it is in an area with mining issues, the building insurance will be high already, as the databases of insurers will all have this postcode area as a mining risk.
