New vinyl flooring. Please help!!!

We recently had a water leak (the meter in the kitchen leaked). The water company have fixed it and have offered to put down new vinyl flooring and repair the plinths.
They came today to do the vinyl sheet flooring and they have made a right hash of it. The room is rather large, approx 6m wide. Along the whole width is a crease/fold in the vinyl. Its pretty deep but apparently according to the company a heat gun will remove the line. I do not think this is the case. Is there anyway to get the crease/fold out of the vinyl or is it ruined by the fitter?

If it is creased it is very difficult to get out. That's why vinyl should always be rolled and not folded. It sounds like they got it done on the cheap.
Plus, you shouldn't have to be sorting out their poor workmanship. Get back in touch with the eater company.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Thank you for your reply. I suspected that was the case. Honestly I do not know why they would have folded it. So I guess the only option is for them to get new vinyl flooring?0

So the guy who laid the floor is now coming back and says he'll glue along the 6m crease line to try to pull it out. Is this going to work?0

No. It needs replacing.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
glue? he probably thinks he can cut along it and stick down after a slight trim - not good at all - that can cause other probs down the line.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

I think he wants to put adhesive either under or next to the "crease" to try to flatten it out. I just want it replaced but they said he needs to try this.
They argue my kitchen is too big (6m wide) and so there was not way not to fold the vinyl0 -

not a chance in hell that they will be able to get rid of this, you could use all the glue in the world & get Nelly the elephant to jump up & down on it & it would still be there
it's been rolled then folded to get it inI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
That is what I think too! However they are insistent he can "fix" it.0
