Selling a car

Hello

I am trying to sell my car. It is 15 years old. Honestly a very good run around car.

Can anyone advise where is the best place to advertise this?

Thanks

Autotrader, pistonheads are two places that spring to mind.
If you are asking a fair price for it then it should sell quickly, if you are commanding a self appointed value then you may take longer for it to go, oh ebay is another option as they have a classified section too.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Autotrader will be the site most people visit to look for a second hand car.

What are the views on Loot and Gumtree?

Are there any good sites that will just buy my car for cash. Guys like Webuyanycar but for older cars?

Ebay never sprung to mind straight away as with the bidding, loot and gumtree, you find most of the time the clients are people who want everything for nothing, if I'm looking for a previously owned car then the 1st place I look is autotrader, webuyanycar don't really want your car, lets suppose they gave you a pre inspection price of £1500, once the inspector arrives (which you pay for) the price will be severly reduced.
What type of car are you trying to shift? If it's a big old thirsty car, you may not get a quick sale unless it is truly exceptional and a desirable car.

    advertise on Gumtree free

Why not give us make, model etc? to get better advice

statement of '15 years old' car doesn't mean anything!
