Ucp pcn

I have just received a Parking Charge Notice from Euro Car Parks. The car was parked in the Bangor Cathedral Multi Storey car park. I did purchase a ticket for 50p which allowed us to park for 1hr. I still have the ticket which shows the time it was bought 13:02, to the time out 14:02. Registration number and ticket number are also on the ticket. The PCN says that no valid pay & display was purchased. The PCN has two photos of the number plate. I have heard of scams at this site but I am almost inclined to appeal the PCN. As far as I am concerned, a ticket was bought and displayed. We were out by 13:41 (as the PCN photo suggests), there was no breach of the terms and conditions at this site (As the PCN suggests). Do I appeal or just ignore? Maybe they were hoping that we threw the ticket away!

Ignoring is no longer an option in England and Wales - and its not been for a long time.

Start by reading this thread, well:

Then post back when you have the bones of a challenge/appeal together if you need more help.
  • The bones of my challenge/appeal are that I did buy a ticket. I still have the ticket in my possession and the time I was out of the car park was within the time limit of the ticket. The ticket was displayed on the dashboard therefor I see no reason for the pcn unless they are just trying their luck.

Of course they are trying it on, unless you made a slight typo with the car reg (easy to appeal anyway). But don't send your appeal like that - NO 'I did buy a ticket'!!

Read the newbies thread please. Drivers don't appeal, keepers do.

  • The car Reg is correct and the ticket is legitimate, nothing wrong with it. As a matter of fact and just buy coincidence, someone heard me talking about this and they knew someone who had the same thing happen at the Bangor Multi Storey. Total scam.
  • The appeal will be written by the keeper, just having problems downloading a photo of the ticket on their website. The Photo is too large to send. Have to convert it to PDF. I just cant understand why the PCN has been produced, as per my original post, the Ticket is legitimate.

Yep but don't say 'me/myself/I bought a ticket', must be worded as 'the driver bought a ticket'.

  • Should I attach a copy of the ticket to the appeal. Or just give them the ticket number. I am also trying to find out the land owner of this site.
  • Just send a copy if you wish

Dont worry about the land owner to much at this stage.
