Do I have to use my insurer's supplier

Hi,

We have claimed for some damaged carpet and lino from when our washing machine flooded. We have been given mandates to replace the items.

Does anyone know if we can use different suppliers from those listed by the insurance company - we know a good carpet shop and would prefer to use it instead of carpetright?

Yes, you can, but the most the Insurance Company will pay is their liability (i.e. what carpet right have said it will cost)

yep as per above comment they will replace up to costs they would pay carpetright..
