i have been given my husbands i pad I think 4 and as yet have no security on it, i downloaded free kaspersky from barclays bank but it is for internet explorer. what security or virus protection do i need for an i pad to make it safe, preferably for free and that is suitable for safari. thanks for advice.

Hi there,
I use a little app called eWallet Go! for storing logins/passwords etc. for banks, ebay and anything else that requires one. http://www.iliumsoft.com/ewalletgo
Its only a couple of quid to buy but stores all you details very securely. If you have a Gmail account you can also sync the details over to there for safe keeping.
Apple also has a system called iCloud Keychain. If you upgrade your device to IOS 7.3 it will ask you if you wish to use it. If you have other IOS devices e.g. iPod, iPhone and they are capable of doing it then your passwords will be synced over to them as well. Any websites you go on using the Safari web browser and enter a password on should be saved so that the next time you go in there the info is remembered.
