About to head off to California in 5 weeks. Does anyone know if it is possible to get discounted theme parks tickets? and where from? Intend visiting; Disneyland LA, Universal Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, San Diego Zoo and Sea World. I know there is the Southern Calif 5 park pass, at £125 each for 5 of us i is a bit expensive!

Just back & found that should of bought tickets online before we went -they were cheaper.
The Sth. Cal. pass is the best value.
Universal is NOT worth visiting, the Florida one is far better, I would save the money on that one.
Disney is smaller than Florida BUT we think it is far better, with more shows & NOT as busy.
Sea World is great.
The Zoo is ace.
Legoland is not as good as the one in Windsor.
There are FANTASTIC free parks all around San diego & if you hire bikes you can go from one to the other, the beaches are fun too.
Have a great time! we have been twice now & hope to go again next year, it is sooo child friendly!!0 -
Thanks for that tip, we may miss off Universal then. Did you do any kind of Hollywood/Beverley Hills tour?0

I enjoyed Universal california and so did my family....we bought a 2 park pass from the gate and did san diego seaworld as well.
We saved a lot by buying our sixflags tickets in advance from their website, they were half price and it is an awsome theme park..prob the best!!! if you like thrill rides they have loads of coasters...fastest, highest, stand up, suspended etc etc.
We didnt do all this in one hol though, we have been out there a few times and florida once....I would never go back to florida but would go back to california again and again.0
