HM coleslaw is so nice. Red cabbage, white cabbage, onion, grated carrot, shred cabbage and onion finely. Mix with mayo, or my brother swears by balsamic vinegar instead of mayo to make it healthy. Not tried that though0 -

Now I love balsamic vinegar but not sure I'd like it in coleslaw. Might give it a try next time though - thanks.
Well the meal went fabulously and all I had to buy was - yes you guessed it - the cabbage and onion to make the blooming coleslaw. But, it is delicious and I have loads left to have with HM pizza tomorrow and maybe Jacket Potato for lunch on Monday.
off to Mr T's now to see if there are any decent YS items. :rotfl:0 -

When adding the rotfl smily I always keep my cursor in the same place and only press it when he comes over (like in the old arcade games) does anyone else do this or am just weird????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Can I join in please?
My aim this year is to save money, back into my savings account. A few things came up in 2013, like replacing my car, holiday with the kids in the summer, and loaning my mum half the money for a back operation that she desperately needed in September, so by the end of the year, I want to have saved £6,000. My mum and OH owed me some money, so have decided to put that straight into a money box to go towards the £6K. I'll also keep saving and £2.00 coins I get and loose change for the big whiskey bottle I have.
Haven't been back to work yet since Christmas eve, so have had 6 NSD already, but needed to get some fresh fruit and veg, and bread today.
I've got a good stock of food in the cupboards and freezers, so am going to run everything down, before doing a major shop again.
Meal plan for next week sorted, and tomorrows dinner, will be 'bits and pieces', like sausage rolls, mini sausages, scotch eggs, salad. We had a roast dinner today, so wanted something easy tomorrow.
Spent most of yesterday shredding paperwork, and 2 sacks later, I've made a good start, just need to keep up the momentum of carrying on doing it.
Cleaned the kitchen today, including doing the fridge and oven, and baked some cookies, and fairy cakes, so that should keep my kids going for a while.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

Hi everyone. I've been reading this thread on and off all day and feeling very inspired. Thank you. I have managed to make an inventory of my freezer today which will help simplify things and de-stress me! Had a baby boy 11 weeks ago and DS1 will be two this month so life is a blur. We're not in debt but I would love to pay our mortgage sooner and figure out where our money goes! Looking forward to more inspiration.0
