we hope to get wed in 2017 our 10th year so I have plenty of time to save but its just another thing to have to think about regarding finances
so I need to pay off debts .... save save save and well be MSE as possible
one step at a time so
1. pay off debts and save for holiday
2. declutter and ebay as much as possible

My annual budget is about to undergo a big revision...
Came up to the Lakes on Sunday for 13 days walking with full backpack training for my Camino in September. But on Monday I lost my footing, and managed to break my right hand/wrist quite badly. 2 hospital visits so far (80 mile round trip from where I'm staying, but fortunately stayed overnight locally between them as a friend from school days lives in that area) and another today. But I'm likely to be in plaster right up to my intended departure date, and there's still a chance they may need to operate to put a pin in
So most of my Camino budget will have to be moved to next year
And I'm going to have to revisit meal plans as I can't open tins, handle heavy pans, lift things out of the oven or wash pots
You poor thing! Hope you make a speedy recovery!Busymumofthreeplusdog......

Another lurker here that is slinking back after some time.
Hope the healing goes well CW18 !! What a nightmare of a thing to happen.
Well we have managed to sell one of our rental properties after having lots of hassle with various tenants. We gave it a go though and we are going to hang on to our other rental as we have a good tenant and its a sound property.
Will take a while for sale to go through as these things do but it will be nice to get money back on an even keel again. Was costing us a fortune whilst empty what with mortgage and council tax but an end is in sight (fingers crossed)Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
Sorry to hear the news cw18 and hope the recovery isn't too drawn out
Congrats on the house sale KM! hope that all goes smoothly for you
Payday for me next Friday and with trying to sort the garden and buying bits in for DS2's birthday party at the end of the month, I'm down to the bone of my account (but not in my buffer). Next month has suddenly become rather expensive too but I'll just keep my head down and keep as focussed as possible
Have a good weekend all xxApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

Oh CW18! Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
And congrats Student-Mum-2 xMSE-ing since 20070 -
Quick update from me.
Hubby hasn't been paid since the end of May and it looks as if next week we'll be told the company are going to liquidate.
I suppose that means the ACAS Early Conciliation is over now and it'll be the long road through liquidation and then insolvency before we get what he's owed. Ho ho ho.
The joke is he was made redundant (from the same place no less, it when into administration then was taken over by the current owners) in October last year so he's not eligible for redundancy.
Oh the joys. Things are as tight as a drum but we'll get there.
Hope everyone else is doing ok?MSE-ing since 20070
