"Outstanding Query" on Equifax re: Very credit account

Hello,
I would be grateful for advice.
I have just checked my updated Equifax report and this is showing all payments up to date until November, which says 'Query Outstanding'. In November I made two payments of around £40.00 - £50.00 on the 4th and 9th.
In a previous post I mentioned an issue where in October, I paid the day before the statement period (4th!) and therefore was hit by a late payment fee. This is why I paid twice in November, to avoid this happening again.
Would the fact that there is no late payment marker be ok? What does the 'Query Outstanding' mean? I did contact them in early November but did not receive a useful response (response not relevant) and then thought it would be better to leave it in case I was causing more harm than good.
Thanks so much for your help - very worried! Will be closing account this month due to these issues.

"Query Outstanding "I think means that - the amount is wrong - there has been a mistake - or disputed by either you or the Company.
But to be certain, you could write to the Company and ask. And if you got no response, or disputed the query - then post a notice of dispute on the Equifax credit file.
I read elsewhere that Query Outstanding does slightly effect your Equifax score - until the query is resolved. But I don't think it is worth closing an account over.

Did the whole incident actually record a late payment marker on your file.
This happened to me last year however it did not record a late payment marker on credit file.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
