EDF - Saying I owe £1400

As it happens I do have a bit of doubt over the amount owed. Looking back through the quarters now I have logged into their site, it does appear to substantially jump up in a period last year. I will question this when I speak to them. But that's another matter.

I think i'll try and see if they will grant a small goodwill gesture when I give them a call. I just felt a bit hard done by, due to an error of the company, leaving something unpaid when I believed it was being paid. & for them to not even contact me to let me know for 18 months then get in touch just before Christmas to tell me I owe them £1400 just feels a bit wrong was my initial feeling.
