Unless you can find a no win no fee personal injury lawyer I think you have fat chance of getting that money.
Bosses are frequently bullying !!!!!!. That is life. You have to find ways of under mining them and making their life difficult while appearing to be entirely helpful. Bullying is the new management style. If you can't cope with it you can't be in most work environments. Take up self employment.

As with all conversations, it's not just what is said but HOW it's said as well.
I've had difficult conversations with people and have had to repeat myself several times to get the point across... That was not bullying or badgering but having an ongoing conversion where the points were discussed in different ways to assist a shared understanding.
You say he insulted you? How? Again, this can be very much subjective.
Swearing? Never acceptable BUT, depending on context and what has gone before, sometimes understandable.
What I'm saying is that this recording needs to be assessed by someone in an objective way.
Was this evidence presented during the grievance enquiry? What were the comments regarding the recording?
Have you exhausted ALL internal grievance processes?
What did your union say about the quality / viability of your evidence?:hello:0 -

Don't ask for a 'good' reference in the settlement. agree the wording - or this may prove to be damning with faint praise, or dates that you worked there... (although that isn't bad I suppose)...

It could be a bluff. It could also be absolute confidence. And there is no way of saying either way. I've heard "it's take it or leave it" before and it hasn't been true; but other times it has. What do your union say?
One other question - if you have been off sick for so long, how come they haven't already paid your commission? Surely that gets paid as part of the salary payment - or is this a calculation of what you think you have lost in commission because you haven't been in work?0 -

It's part of my salary, I have only received SSP for the last 6 month. Also you have to be at work achieving parts of targets to release it and I haven't been there for 6 month.
i'm not expecting miracles with the settlement, but i expected them to be fair and pay what I am owed/meet me somewhere in the middle but they have put the pressure on for me to accept/reject for close of play tomorrow which has given me little time to decide. If they came back with 6-8, I would just take it and close the door on all this as I really have had enough, 4k wouldn't even clear debt I've accrued because of all this. I appreciate that they don't care about any of that.
Part of me wants to reject it and see if they come back with slightly higher settlement, but then I'm taking a risk I will get nothing. So frustrating, really has been the most stressful 6 months of my life, I'm still yet to bounce from rock bottom0 -
I agree £4k does not sound like much under the circumstances but you are not guaranteed to obtain more at tribunal. I also think it would be prolonged and stressful and considering how vulnerable you must feel with all of it, you need to discuss with your family if it is worth the risk to your well being and health to pursue it, good luck whatever you decide.0

Contact the branch office and inform them of the state of play - unions don't revolve around an individual steward. Request they start offering some support - sharpish.
