So I ordered a book from an Amazon Marketplace seller in the US. He sent it USPS.
Looking at the labels, Theres a USPS label then Royal Mail stuck a label "Delivered by Royal Mail" sticker on it. Then it had a TNT Post sticker applied to the package and a TNT Post man just delivered it
I'm not complaining, Its just nice to get my post and at a reasonable hour.
Is there any reason as to why TNT post are dealing with international post now?

No,RM didnt stick the label on
It has never been in RMs system
Try and get the facts right Simon0

Well it does have a "Delivered by royal mail" sticker on it then a TNT Post sticker. Why I posted this thread.
Which TNT added.
I know you dont understand these things Simon.
I'll try and keep the words short.
Under DSA,TNT have to add delivered by RM
So they put it on all the packets they were giving to RM,then added their sticker to the handful they delivered.0

As you are an ex postie, you obviously know more about this sort of thing than many people, but why do you feel the need to try to belittle people who are asking questions about something of which they have little or no knowledge?0

because Simon is my biggest fan on the forum
He even started a thread just for me
He also extols the virtue of TNTs delivery service. despite the mass population not having it
So he isnt asking any question at all.
Is that okay with you?0

I think I am confusing folk
It has a Royal Mail printed impression something like

Not the number 2 but the thing to the right and that was over the USPS label.
but then on the parcel partly conceling that label is an actual TNT Post frank. (Where TNT deliver it themselves)0

Which part is confusing?0

Well it wasn't part of the TNT post label. The TNT Post label covers it slightly!!
It goes
USPS Label
Delivered by Royal Mail
THEN over the top "TNT POST" but TNT post delivered it!0

Still not confused
The delivered by RM is a requirement on other companies/PPI account holders
If you pay RM directly by using the likes of stamps, then its not required
it also can be part of the likes of a PPI label,or seperate
Soooooo, once moreSo they[TNT] put it on all the packets they were giving to RM,then added their sticker to the handful they delivered.
Its nothing uncommon. Companies often send some packets by RM in areas they have a lower delivery set up and deliver some themselves on other areas.0

Its not a DSA item, it was an international item that had a delivered by royal mail sticker then a TNT Post label (One of their own to say it was delivered by them)
If you don't know why then thats fine. But it wasn't a DSA item!!!0
