2 potted out of my purse and retrieved 5 out of our "general coin" pot and moved them into the official 20p pot. Well done on the growing totals!0

added another 20p bringing me up to £9.00 ! So pleased!
Can't decide whether to put in my savings account every time I get up to £10 or whether to keep it at home and pay it in all at once...
Being really good and not taken anything out yet,but as a student who gets student loan in a lump sum each time I worry there may be a temptation towards the end of the year...
What is everyone else planning on doing with theirs?Frugal Student!!!0 -
Mine is in a sealed tin (£1.49 from B&M) and will need to be cut open to access it. I therefore plan to leave it until it is full Or open it the month before we go on holiday (which is over a year away). I think if the pot wasn't sealed I would bank it in savings each time I got £50 worth // but that said I like watching it get heavier!! DH hates having money in the house though from a security perspective and I guess a savings account would be a good idea.0

Another 3 added today bringing me up to £9.60! Excited to be close to double figures :PFrugal Student!!!0

Well I have added another 7 to piggy today but am going to have to find an alternative pot as I can't get any more in. He is only a little piggy so plan to count it later and may swap them for some £2 coins and move them over to that tin instead to makes some space. :jCredit Card £[STRIKE]2332.04[/STRIKE] at 1st Jan 14 now £2089
