I cleared out my terramundi this morning (using a knife so I can still use the terramundi ) and I have banked a humongous £520!!
It has taken a good couple of years to save this amount but I decided it was time to put it into the offset account where it will earn it's keep
I only needed 1 more to fill another money bag, so that £18 went back in the terramundi to start the collection for 2014.
Happy collecting everyone, it all adds up

It is funny when you are focused on such challenges, the simple things seem important and exciting, I found an ideal tin to collect my £2 coins in!!! Does this make me sad, obsessed or just slightly crazy?:D

Grrr! I had my first shiny £2 coin, but got caught short of other change and had to spend it (it was either get the bus to work and be only slightly damp, or walk to work and look like a drowned rat!).

Therefore, I'm still hunting my first one down

Another one today, might have to get a dedicated pot for them. At the moment, they're sitting in a plastic picnic cup inside a tin, inside a box that I throw all my coppers into.

I'd love to find one on the street but think I'm aiming for a miracle there!
