I went out for a meal tonight and after everyone had handed over what they owed I spied 3 £2 coins. :j:j:j

So I swapped a £10 note for change and now I have the coins! :)

  • A good couple of weeks for me - I'm an Avon lady in my spare time and my customers know that my stack of change gets depleted very quickly. So, this year, they are all paying their bills with change and most have at least one £2 coin in it. Collected £58 in a fortnight - fabulous! Total now £160 :j. Not bad as started very late.

Can I be kept in for 2015 please. Have a holiday to save up for and will need a new washing machine as mine is 14 years old and starting to creek:(

  • So opened by tin for 2014 and had £50. Not as much as other years but heading to the bank on Monday with it.

I have started a new tin and have managed to get 3 £2 coins in already. So that is £6.

Congratulations to all savers, I reached my target amount in early October so stopped saving. There was no item I was saving for so the money was just spent on various silly things apart from cinema tickets to see the last Hobbit film.
Looking forward to starting again from 01/01/2015.
Proud to have dealt with my debts, became debt free on 03/11/2011. Repaid £54,723.41 LBM May 2006.
