  • Hi all,

Sorry if I've missed anyone off the list, as we are nearing the end of the year, I'm not adding any more. Feel free to post though as its nice to see that people have an interest in the thread :)

The lovely Gem-gem is taking over the thread for next year, I'll be joining in too, so feel free to pop over there once its up and running :D

I think I saw a post from someone asking when we count up the lovely shiny £2 coins that you've lovingly collected over the year....the answer - its entirely up to you what you do :) there are no rules, its up to you whether you save all year and then bank them or if you bank them once a month.

The main aim of the thread is to have fun tracking down the £2 coins :)

  • Well, I have counted up my £2 and looking at the list of members realise I didn't subscribe to the challenge this year - OOPS.

Anyway, I have managed to save a fabulous £360 in £2 coins this year. I will keep an eye out for the 2015 challenge and make sure I have a number for the coming year!

Thanks for organising the challenge and happy saving everyone.

Hi Everyone, it has been a good day today. Firstly because I got 5 lovely shiny new £2.00 coins and secondly because 4 of them were the World War One coins - your country needs you. It's going to be a while before I will want to surrender them. One has gone into a special pot where I keep one of each type. I now have 24 different £2.00 coins.
