Hi, I got divorced years ago and agreed to the kids staying in the home until they either left full time higher education or they turned 18. Both of my sons went to college and then
left after a year so the house went on the market and then they decided to go back just before they turned 18, the house had to come off the market again. The house should have gone back up for sale in june 2013 however The x wife said that she was going to get a mortgage . This delayed progress until June because she was so in debt they would not give her a mortgage. The dependents are 21 now and she has agreed to pay the mortgage as she is wanting to stay in the house as long as possible . The house is up for sale again but she has let the d!cor go and the house is not in its best state for sale. She is also refusing to reduce the price.
I am trying to get rid of the house as I need to move on with my life and buy a new property. Has anyone had experience of this and what did they do to resolve the situation?
thank you
