Good idea, although I thought purple was a combination of red and black.0 -

Type in edit pdf file, on google, I found a site where you could edit pdf files, it worked well.0 -
Is it worth trying putting one of the coloured ink cartridges into the black cartridge slot? It probably won't work, but you never know.0

I didn't want to start a new thread, so hope its ok to post here.
I have just replaced the black ink in my HP Deskjet 3050 Wireless all in one , but left the colour in. I thought the problem with it not printing properly was that the colours may have dried as I don't use printer much, but now need to. I had just reinstalled the printer as I had a new router and once I changed the black ink I did a test print, which came out fine, but needed to print a statement and the text is very small and may be unreasonable, I am trying to avoid the delay of getting a statement from my bank (and being charged for it) but am not sure why the text looks small. I zoomed in on the page, but it didn't come out larger when printed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.0 -
Check your print driver settings. I have known them to have a setting where you can overprint cyan+magenta+yellow to simulate black if the black ink's run out.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

But I've replaced the black ink and it's full. The old colour ink is still in there and the test print showed all the colours to be there, but the statement I needed to print, the text was quite small.0 -
Rather than zooming in, changing the text size on webpages may work.
Which browser and version are you using?
Was it Crtl + you used?0 -

Hi. I used 'view' and Zoom in when on bank website, but it didn't change it on the print out. I've just done another test page and the text is normal, but not in 2 attempts earlier on my bank statement. I used Firefox.0
