I'd like to go to Memphis next year,does anyone have any idea best time to book flights for best prices.

No specific comments on flight pricing or timings I'm afraid, but I visited Memphis in October as part of a holiday.

We flew there on an internal flight and found it much more cost-effective to fly into Little Rock and then drive the two hours from there to Memphis.

I recall reading in a local newspaper there that some airlines have reduced flights to Memphis airport, so if you're particularly budget-conscious do look into Little Rock flights too. It's an easy — if slightly dull — drive from there to Memphis.

We flew into Memphis with KLM about 3 years ago but the past couple of years they didn't fly there. We always found it much cheaper the earlier we booked. Going to Nola again this time...............

That's such a general question it's impossible to give a meaningful answer. Are you asking about when to purchase or when to fly? If the latter, when? Do you prioritise price over total travel time? Where are you flying from?

Flyin from Manchester or London,I noticed over the years some companies are cheaper if you book as soon as flights become available other put the price down later,I was just asking for any info on this.

Best route in to Memphis from the UK is LHR to ATL and down to MEM with Delta. Its a 9hr 30 to ATL, 55-1hr15 flight to MEM dependent on aircraft used.

Its quite a popular route, unfortunately KLM/Northwest stopped their AMS to MEM direct flight a while back now.

Alot of the local airlines offer flights in - if you can get a Southwest.

Really does depend if you're planning on doing other destinations on your route.

If you go to NYC or a high traffic destination for example then you will get a better deal...
