I totally agree, my OH did this years ago, and it was a totally thankless task. She would spend hours at home collating all the stuf, bagging it up, and then slog around the neighbourhood in all weathers. It wasn't just the disinterested people, who didn't want to buy anything, it was the downright rude ones who told her to **** off. Of course now, our area is a no cold calling zone (there are lots around), so it would be nigh on impossible to make any money.
I think the most she ever made in a week was about £15.
It is not a job!
